1, aluminum sucks. 2, the other handle is for u.. what its called. handling. dumbass.
3 people use woks all the time. 4 you didnt menchion to not get teflon coated woks because even if the wok wont be taking as much heat as in prof kitchens. it still breaks down at most stoves highest settings. and scratch off vary vary easily.

I use a carbon steel wok on an electric stove, and it works fine. I’d rather have a huge flame, but you can still get pretty much the same effect without it, just takes a little longer. I wouldn’t use aluminum, you can’t season it properly.

Weak, do your homework before making a video. If you’re not going to take the time to learn how to wok cook correctly with a wok burner. Then go buy the pre made sauce out of the packets/bottle and just use your frying pan. You’ll never know the difference. Aluminium, non stick, stainless are all poor choices for woks. If you want to learn keep researching.

I have been teaching wok cooking over 15 years and market my own cast iron wok kit with instructional DVDs. I have 3 videos posted incl. Care & Feeding of your wok with over 22,000 views and great comments. Chef, as you pointed out, cooking homestyle vs restaurant style is totally different. I don’t agree with any of your points: aluminium sticks, flat bottom is not natural etc. We use our wok for cooking b’fst, lunch & dinner, watch our videos. It’s the most versatile pan, only need one good.
once you have a wok …
once you have a wok you don’t really need any other pan, breakfast can be cooked, soft/ hard boiled eggs, omelet ,pancakes. as to his wok that he is using it remind me of my copper fry pan with the same handle.
First things. I …
First things. I have never seen a aluminum wok in my life.(The one he is using is high carbon steel with a protective coating that should be washed first). He got the loop handle right it’s for hanging and for grabbing to tilt the wok to make it easier to pour soups. You also go onto say you wouldn’t cook your breakfast in it. I’d like to point out 1/3rd of the world does so every day. If I had to have 1 pan it would be a wok or a slope sided saute pan in stainless steel.
